Cornwall

Hiya readers,

Hope the rest of your summer is going swimmingly (pun intended...you'll see what I mean in a bit!) and that it's been a good one. I recently visited Cornwall, and tend to annually. I feel that sometimes these sorts of areas aren't visited, by foreigners especially. However, there's so much of 'England' that can be discovered in places like Cornwall; castles, pasties and pubs - which will almost always have some veggie options for adults, kids and families that may not eat meat for personal beliefs or religious beliefs (which is the case for us). Although London is the most popular city in England - it isn't the ONLY place! There are so many beautiful places in the UK which have incredible views and are more relaxing. Places like Cornwall and Devon have beautiful beaches as well as gardens, castles and amusement parks. Of course, England being England - the weather will most probably dictate how much enjoyment you actually get :)

When we went for the long weekend that we did, it was pouring down with rain - meaning the flawless views were essentially ruined. Luckily the next day was much clearer and the beach was an option that many families took advantage of.

Below I'll post a few photos I took! Hope you enjoyed this quick read and personal (yet widely agreed) opinion.

Take care,

Hana :) x

Unpopular Opinion: Make-up & Cosmetics

Hello lovelies,

Today's post is one that may be slightly odd, especially due to the fact that my make-up skills are probably less that Ron's "emotional range of a teaspoon" (Harry Potter references are sometimes a must!) In other words, I'm not a make-up or beauty guru. However, in my latest video, I give a brief history on make-up and then my personal opinion or 'relationship' with it. I could have gone into depth and had a massive debate about whether businesses simply steal our money or if in fact it is a way to empower women, but I decided to keep it short and simple (and also confusing...sorry!)

If you would like to watch it, I'll leave the link below! If the three minutes of me talking may bore you :P then here is the overall idea:

If make-up and cosmetics make you feel happier, and it works for you, then that's great! However, if you feel pressured to wear make-up or look a certain way, don't be ashamed to be outside of the stereotypical definition of beauty. As the cliche' saying goes, 'Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful!'
P.S. Don't ever shame people for their choices (!!!!) - whether they decide to wear make-up and use cosmetics, or decide it isn't for them.

Take care,

Hana :) x
